The Dartmouth Investment and Philanthropy Program is an undergraduate investment group that manages a $470,000 equity portfolio. Each year, we distribute a percentage of our capital gains as grants to campus-based charitable organizations.
The Dartmouth Investment and Philanthropy Program (DIPP) was established in 2007 after receiving seed funding from a group of Dartmouth alumni who believed in the importance of real, hands-on investing experience for undergraduates.
DIPP provides a platform for Dartmouth students to learn about finance through education sessions as well as analyzing, debating, pitching, and investing in stocks. The club maintains a focus on giving back to the Dartmouth community by donating a substantial portion of its gains to student-initiated philanthropic endeavors.
